If you are pro-life, what kind of birth control do you use?
Question by amada_rose: If you are pro-life, what kind of birth control do you use?
I'm strongly pro-life and I believe life begins with conception…when I study different methods of birth control like a regular hormone pill, I worry that I will have breakthrough ovulation and the only reason I won't get pregnant is because the lining of my uterus is so thin (causing no implantation of the fertilized egg). I know many people who are anti-birth control. We have been using condoms for about a year and a half but I don't want children for another 4 years or so. What do other people do?

you can get fitted with a contraceptive… a type of diaphragm that prevents pregnancy.

Try Depo shot. It doesnt 'kill eggs' or anything. It basically prevents you from ovulating… So putting the egg on 'hold' so to speak. And completely reversable if you chose. I had it for like 7 or so years.. and now have no. 2 on the way.
Good Luck!

I have had a disease (pcos) since I was 9 they put me on the ortho pill to help it, didn't work so I have never needed birth control. but after my baby is born (got pregnant using metformin to help control my disease) we will use Condoms.
but also a few years ago I was on Yaz at first (I did like that one a lot) and then I used the patch.. not a big fan of that one.
